Wilmington Place is a new mixed-use condominium and townhouse development currently in pre-construction located at 221-245 Wilmington Avenue in Toronto, Ontario Biddington Homes. It consists of three phases with a total of 393 total dwelling units designed by Rafael + Bigauskas Architects.
The Wilmington Place Condos project is located at the corner of Wilmington Avenue and Overbrook Place. The application proposal is for the subdivision of lands into three new parcels with two new public streets. The first phase (Building A) will be a six storey residential condominium with 179 units of which 55 will be one-bedroom units, 74 will be one-bedroom plus den units and 50 will be two-bedroom units. Proposed is also 1,360 square metres of ground floor retail and service uses. There will also be four condo townhouse units in Building A and two separate condo townhouse buildings with eight units each. There are 301 vehicular parking spaces proposed as well as 150 bicycle parking spaces proposed.
The second phase (Building B) will be a four and six storey residential condominum with 171 units of which 51 will be one-bedroom units, 74 will be one-bedroom plus den units and 46 will be two-bedroom units. Proposed is also 560 square metres of ground floor retail and service uses. There are 241 vehicular parking spaces proposed as well as 135 bicycle parking spaces proposed. Finally, phase three will consist of fourteen units of freehold townhouses and 9 units of condo townhouses situated to the east and parrallel to Wilmington Avenue, Toronto with 28 vehicular parking spaces for the freehold townhomes. Therefore, the Wilmington Place will have a total of 350 condominium suites and 43 townhouse dwelling units on site and a total of 570 parking spaces located at grade and also in the two levels of underground parking.
Total gross floor area is 41,184 square metres of which 1,920 square metres is for retail use space. The average size for a one-bedroom unit is 635 square feet. The average size for a one-bedroom plus den is 689 square feet and the average size for a two-bedroom unit is 861 square feet. The average size of a townhouse unit is 1,668 square feet.
Wilmington Place Condominiums is situated in the Bathurst Manor neighbourhood of Toronto located just east of Dufferin Street and south of Finch Avenue West. It is also located near the West Don Parkland and not too far from York University and Highway 401 and the Allen Road.
